The exhibition

On the Maestro's 100th birthday, the Fellini Foundation for Cinema (Sion, Switzerland) opens an exhibition in homage to one of the greatest creators of the 20th century.

Thanks to an immersive scenography, visitors will be able to rediscover this unique poetic universe of Fellini's films, reconstituted by photographs of film shoots, music by Nino Rota, costumes, original set elements, installations and video productions. The public will also discover unpublished documents from the Foundation's Collection as well as Fellini's comments collected on the E La Nave va film set.

Distinction

The cultural and academic commitment of the Fellini Foundation, which since 2001 has conducted over a hundred exhibitions and events in the Cultural Space of the Devil's House, in Switzerland and internationally, has been honoured at the highest level of the Italian Republic: the President of the Italian Republic, H.E. Mr. Sergio Mattarella, awarded the Fellini Foundation a special Medal underlining the significant cultural value of this exhibition in the context of the Fellini Centenary. The exhibition is placed under the High Patronage of the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Embassy in Switzerland and the Consulate General of Italy in Switzerland.

International Exhibitions

The Fellini Foundation is also present in the exhibition Fellini 100: Genio Immortale. La Mostra, inaugurated in Rimini on 14 December 2019 at Castello Sismondo.

Finally, a major international exhibition programme is launched with the touring of the exhibition created with David Lynch in homage to Fellini at the Devil's House in Sion in 2018 : David Lynch. Dreams. A Tribute to Fellini. This exhibition will be presented at the Cinémathèque Catalane (Filmoteca Catalunya) in Barcelona from February 6, 2020, then in Washington, Los Angeles, Montreal and Bangkok, among others.
